Hi my name is Massimiliano Di Matteo and I am Italian! I love food and cooking is a major part of my life. I learned to prepare traditional food from the region of Abruzzo from my mother Giannina and my grandmother Alessandrina.

Similar to a farmer’s kitchen, my cuisine is based on simple ingredients prepared in a traditional manner given the region; keeping cooking traditions that have been around for decades. Many of these recipes are being forgotten by today's generation.

 

I'm lucky to be able to preserve and share them with you.
